johnwmreed Posted February 7, 2010 Report Share Posted February 7, 2010 I have a Windows 7 64 bit system on a 1.5TB hard drive that is backed up with Retrospect 7.7 I have added a second identical 1.5TB hard drive that I plan to configure with the first drive in a RAID 1 (mirror) configuration. When I do this both drives will be wiped clean, and I want to restore my operating system and files using the Emergency Recovery CD. The instructions when using the Intel Matrix Storage Manager states that a RAID driver is required when installing Windows. It is not clear to me where this fits in with the Recovery CD.
