Richy_Boy
Hi all; I have recently switched to using Ubuntu at work as Vista was doing my head in. All is working rather well, except I have noticed Retrospect seems to backup with 0% compression. I've looked through my logs and it appears that no Linux clients seem to compress the data when backing up, only Windows. Is there something that needs setting up specifically for Linux clients? Also, I have added a folder to the exceptions list, yet the status says exceptions are disabled. How to I enable them? Many thanks, Richard
mauricev
No, compression occurs at the server end. Could it somehow be that what you're backing up is relatively incompressible?
