johncharnock77
Hi For no reason at all my backup is refusing to use the media it has been using for the last 8 to 10 weeks - all of my back up scripts have failed with the error needs media. Even pointing to the location of the media fails to resolve this. In the past I have deleted all media sets and re created everything to fix this, I need to resolve thsi as yet again I am wasting valuable time remedying a inconsistent piece of software. hardware Imac - latest MAC software and latest Retrospect build Edited November 14, 2009 by Guest
Lennart_T
You didn't provide any version numbers, but your screen shot tells me it's probably Retrospect 8. Please try the "8" forum. (This is the Retrospect 6 forum.) http://forums.dantz.com/showforum.php?fid/129/ "Latest" doesn't say anything months from now, when readers finds this thread looking for answers. I quote rhwalker. Please provide: (1) complete version number of Retrospect (2) complete version number of Retrospect Driver Update (3) complete version number of the OS (4) complete description of hardware being used. (5) complete description of the steps you are doing (6) complete description of the problem

Lennart_T
No. Look at the top of the page: Location: Main Index » Forum Index » Mac OS X Products-Retrospect » Desktop, Workgroup and Server for Mac OS X » Needs Media AGAIN It doesn't say "Retrospect 8" anywhere. Did you click on the link I provided and read what it says at the top of the page in THAT forum?
