bryantom
I originally posted this in the wrong forum - sorry for the cross posting: All, I am running Retrospect 8.1 (build 622) server. Yesterday, we had a network issue, and one of our Mac Servers (10.4.11) was unresponsive this morning. After rebooting the server, everything was fine. About thirty minutes ago, I checked the status of the last backup and it failed because of the network outage. I ran a manual backup and it failed on "finding" the server. I checked to make sure the retrospect client was enabled on the server and it was. I rebooted the server, but I still could not find that server on the retrospect server. I'm wondering what else I can do other than removing the source and adding it again. I want to do everything I possibly can do not to have to do a fresh backup of this server as the initial backup takes 2+ days to complete. From the retrospect server, I am able to ping the server and connect to it with the connect to server command. Thanks, Bryan
