DWitteried
I am considering repartitioning my hard drive. This will require zapping my Windows Vista installation. Since Retrospect 7 doesn’t support a bootable CD recovery with Vista I was wondering if after reinstalling Vista then Retrospect whether or not the resulting system will truly be restored? Since Vista will be running can active files be overwritten? Or will I have to reinstall and reconfigure other applications and Vista settings/preferences? I just don’t feel confident about the process.
Mayoff
You can do a live restore, but because you are changing the disk configuration you must manually edit the boot.ini file to handle the new config. after the restore and before the restart.
