0) Updated Server to version 7.6.

"Retrospect Volume Tracker: Windows - noDisk exp. processing message c000013

Parameters 75a... 75a...."

Never had this error message before (version 7.6...)

1) Updated Client Windows (in Client Update):

"Sorry, couln't connect to Computer error -560 (invalid private/public key)."

Solved by removinhg and Installing Retrospect Client 7.6.106 directly.

Error solved, but lost 'alias' in Retrospect - Volumes.

2) Updated Client Macintosh OSX 10.5. (PPC, Client Update):

Error: "Can't access volume HD on ZZ, error -523 (service transaction error)"

Soled by Installeing Retroepect Client 6.2.229. directly

2a) Error -523 solved but new error:

scanning

preparing to execute

matching

"Trouble reading files, error-519 (network communication failed)"

To Solve: 0) 2a)

We have a mixed (Windows Server 2003/2008, Vista, XP Pro, and OSX) environment here too. So far I haven't had any problems with the switch from 7.5 to 7.6 and its acompanying clients.

Last time I had that was during the switch to 7.5, and that one turned out to be a network card driver issue which was fixed after a reinstall of (more recent) driver. Before I figured that one out though, a lot time went by.

So you might want to some tests with Retrospect on a different machine.
