tapupartforpres1
I back up our server using Retrospect. Is there a way for all the clients to see the server where the database file is stored and look for files to be restored from there?
twickland
No. Restores (and backups too) all need to be initiated from the server end.
Mayoff
Retrospect for Windows has a feature called User Initiated Restore that allows a user to start a restore via web browser. A bug in 7.6 has disabled the feature but it works great in version 7.5 with all client operating systems.

Mayoff
It will be in Retrospect X when it is released.
