Error on Windows 2003 Server (pcpds.exe)

We have a complete backup system built with retrospect multiserver 7.5.370. On our network there ist a W2K3-Cluster Server where a lot of errors occur during backup ist done. The event-id is "11" (App-Protocol) and the source ist VSS. In the hexdump we can read the following:

It seems that pcpds.exe causes this error.

 

What is pcpds.exe ?

Why does this error happen ?

Any idea what we can do ?
