spencerallen Posted August 31, 2007 Report Share Posted August 31, 2007 We have a disk --> disk --> tape setup. I am looking to run multiple backups from the same device. We use DoubleTake to create a second failover device which we use if our main file server fails. We use this device, which is a drive on our backup server to backup all our files, to backup during the day. One problem we are having, is that Retrospect will not do multiple backups from that device. We have 3 different backup sets that run from that one drive due to the large amount of files on the server. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this? Lennart_T Posted September 4, 2007 Report Share Posted September 4, 2007 Retrospect is perfectly capable of doing multiple backups of the same disk to as many backup sets you like.
