neojim913
I am getting this error when I backup all mailboxes on Exchange 2003. Trouble reading files, error -1010 (API request bad) This just started several days ago. Does any one have an idea why? When I backup the database I dont have any errors. I recently upgraded to sp 2 on w2k3 and exchagne sp2. I haven't found anything in the knowledge base regarding this specific error. I am using retrospect 7.0 build I think it is 344. I am backing up to a file on a san.
AmyJ
Check the Event Logs for any additional error information. Do you get this error when backing up individual mailboxes or just the mailboxes container?
neojim913
when I backup the mailbox container. I was also thinking that I updated my backup server to windows 2003 r2. is there a difference btw the API from w2k3 sp2 and w2k3 r2 sp1? tomnibus
I have this same problem although it's not all my mailboxes just a few of them. (15 - 20 or so out of 150). I tried backing up individually and through the container. I have also tried to backing up to another location like a file on the C drive. This problem started after refreshing the user list using "Login as..." in the volumes window.
