kmozart Posted May 18, 2007 Report Share Posted May 18, 2007 My congifuration is Mac, Dual 2.7 G7 Power PC, 6 GB RAM OSX 10.4.7 I have connected two Lacie BIG 500 GB drives, one for work one for backup. It was working fine, until recently, and noy is Crashing computer when I try to do Immediate backup. Kernel panic comes on the desktop, and after I restart, the drive for backup is not loaded. after repairing the drive for backup with OSX disk utilities, thye drive is loaded again, but crashes again whille execution of the backup. Any sugestion what to do? Mainly files are audio (wav, aiff...) I'm using the drives for audio recording using Pro Tools HD3 Accel System. Size on the backup I try to do is 280GB.
