Append multiple scripts

Hi,

Is there any easy way to have two scripts run (one after the other) and write to the same tape ie first script overwrites and the second scritp appends.

Yes, schedule one backup for "recycle" backup (which will erase the tapes) and then schedule another "normal" backup one minute/hour later. It will wait for the first backup to finish before starting.

 

But don't use just one set of tapes, use at least three sets on a rotating basis.
