I am running Retrospect on an XP Pro machine and trying to backup the 2003 Server with no luck. Is this even possible or do I need a different product? Thanks. AndrewA Posted January 4, 2007 Report Share Posted January 4, 2007 What version of Retrospect are you using? Professional, Disk to Disk, Single Server? To backup a Windows 2003 machine with the client you need to have the Multi Server version of Retrospect otherwise you can share out volumes or folders depending on what you want to backup but you will not get file or folder permissions and you can not backup the system state this way either.
