ablend
Proactive script # 1 uses a tape named "Proactive 2006" as a destination. Proactive script # 2 uses a folder on the hard disk named "Disk Proactive" as a destination. I want to transfer the snapshots from the disk named "Disk Proactive" to the tape named "Proactive 2006". Can I do this without worrying about destroying the original data from Proactive script # 1, on my "Proactive 2006" tape? I'm using a normal proactive script for both, along with a normal snapshot transfer, no recycling involved. Thanks
Lennart_T
No problem with that. (Unless you SPECIFICALLY states "New media backup" or "Recycle Media" backup.)
ablend
Excellent. Thanks. So in other words, one Backup Set can be the destination for multiple scripts, regardless of type (snapshot transfer, proactive, general backup) as long as they are all set to "Normal" backup.
