clarkcd003
Is there a way to keep the program from loading at startup? I dont want to run automatic backups and would prefer to do them manually.I tried setting Retrospect to manual in Windows Services, it doesn't show up in the tray now but is still a process that uses 10% cpu bandwidth. thanks
Mayoff
Can you be more specific? Which product are you using and what version?
rriggs1000
I have the same question. I'm using Retrospect Express HD 1.1.127. The reason I don't want it to startup automatically when I turn on my computer is that is takes forever to load. I would rather just start it myself if I decide to do a backup. daeib
Hello All, To disable Retrospect Express HD from running in the background please do the following. Beware doing will disable Retrospect Express HD from doing scheduled backups. Start > Run > (type) msconfig > (tab) Startup > (uncheck anything) "Retrospect" or "Express HD" > (click) OK Restart the PC to make sure this worked. -SUMC
