mcampos
Hello, I am using Retrospect Professional 7.0.301. I noticed that the timestamp on the backup files is different by about 20 hours. For example I had a scheduled script start this morning 10/29/06 at 10:20 am which ran for about 12 minutes; the timestamp on the last file writen by the backup is 10/28/06 6:45pm. This is not the first time I see this, is there an explanation for it and a way to have an accurate stamp placed on the backup files? Thanks in advance for your reply. Mike. nekr0phage
Where are your rdb files located in relation to your backup server? File timestamps should be a function of the OS/FS, not the application.
mcampos
Thanks Foster, One of my backup devices is a Buffalo Terastation, it was setup to GMT +- time instead of synching with the domain server. I'll see what happens on the next backup, but it should be OK. Mike.
