Can not tell if backup is runnig correctly...

Does this look like the backup worked or did not work?????? Suggestions greatly appreciated.

hi bell,

 

you have the dreaded 1017 error, but even though 'open file' backup is not working, the backup appears to have successfully backed up your data.

 

there are no errors on the individual files--if 688mb sounds like the right size i think you are good to go. if you want to solve the 1017's, you should check the other posts in the forum.

 

briefly, you'll want to check the 'Event Viewer' for Volume Shadow Copy (VSS) errors, and you may need to google them. 1017's can happen for a variety of reasons and i have not seen a surefire way to solve them in one easy method.
