viclewis
I used the wizard to create a disaster recovery cd-r and used Nero to burn it to the cd. I had a problem after windows update of security patches and I tried to boot to the cd but the boot process logged on to the cd and then bypassed it. I have two files on the cd. One is the iso image file and the other is the txt file with instructions. According to the directions in Retrospect Express it should have booted to the cd but didn't. Any help would be appreciated. waltr
hi victor, you can't just burn the .iso image to a CD. you must find the option in your software to "Burn a CD from a disk image", or something similar. to make things really simple, you might try the wonderful (and free) burncdcc, which you can download here: http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/utilities.html in the past i've suggested this to users who have had a problem figuring out how to burn the iso with whatever software they are using and it's been a success. cheers.
