Dolf
I am getting ready to add a bunch of clients to a server. So I had the Helpdesk workers go around installing clients on a bunch of computers (Macs and Windows). I have not yet had the opportunity to add all these clients to the script because of various reasons. The problem is, these users are complaining because they are receiving the error stating that they have never been backed up, over and over. They make it sound like it's constantly popping up. They are getting really frustrated. Is there a way to deal with this error message for the time being? I'm afraid they're going to come pillaging my office before long..... --Dolf
waltr
hi dolf, when your help desk people install the client, have them uncheck the preference, "Notify if no Backup in XX days" (default is 7). if your users are savvy enough, they could probably do it themselves. Dolf
Thanks, waltr! I'll make sure the workers all know that fix. --Dolf
