Armando
After installing the newer update, can I now trash the older 6.0 app. folder or do both folders need to reside in Apps????
waltr
hi armando, you can trash it. it's just there in case you feel the need to go back to 6.0.

Be sure to save your Catalogs folder (perhaps move it to the 6.1 folder, and you will then have to find the new location in Retrospect), because it contains all of the catalogs for your backup sets. Also be aware that, while you can read your 6.0 backup sets in 6.1, a format change prevents appending to them in 6.1. Good luck. Russ
waltr
hi russ, this is true, you could be saving the catalog files there. the default location is in a Users 'Documents' folder, but i forgot that some people change it to the Applications/Retrospect X.X folder. good catch.
