natscher
Hello Everyone, I recently installed my 1-1/2 year old Retrospect backup 6.0 software onto my Mac G5 (Power PC) running Tiger 10.4.5. The program won't open up at all when initially launching it, but closes down immediately. It used to run on my G5 when it ran Panther 10.4.3. Will this backup software work with the Tiger OS, or do I need to re-purchase the newest version of Retropect? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Peter Natscher Monterey, California
waltr
hi peter, why don't you check for _free_ updates before you get all wound up? http://www.emcinsignia.com/supportupdates/updates/ you don't give us the version, but anything before 6.0.212 will NOT work with 10.4.5. natscher
Mac's "Get Info" says it's version 6.0.193. I'll go back and look for an on-line update. Thanks for your help! Peter
natscher
I've downloaded the most recent rdu614103 update and this won't open up on my Mac G5 (10.4.5 Tiger) either. So, I can't run my old 6.0 Backkup app. and I can't update it. What to do? Peter
