my5js Posted February 18, 2006 Report Share Posted February 18, 2006 I"m trying to backup my c drive on the external and when I delete something off of c drive then do the backup, it will show as deleted from the external hd as well.... I'd like to use the external for photo storage (don't trust the integrity of dvd/cd just yet...) and delete them from my c drive. How can I do this so that when I do the backup, it just adds the new ones and doesn't delete the deleted ones? Hope that made sense.... RonaldL Posted February 18, 2006 Report Share Posted February 18, 2006 It sounds like you're using a Windows version so you're posting in the wrong forum. If you're doing a duplicate, the option you want is Replace Corresponding Files instead of Replace Entire Volume. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
