redleader
I have a Script setup to Copy Files with Move and NOT leave anything [that matches the rules] in the Original source folder location ... But it is not working ... it is leaving the empty folders behind in the Original source folder location, and not Moving or Deleting them. I attach screenshots of my settings ... I cannot see where I have error'd 😞 It is the same on two Mac systems FYI: Mac OSX El Capitan 10.11.6 Retrospect for Mac v12.5.0 Mac OSX High Sierra 10.13.latest Retrospect for Mac v15.6.1 (105) Above we see the Original Location folder still has folders ... DavidHertzberg
I've never used that combination of Options. Here's why and how to file a Support Case.
Nigel Smith
These look to be Dropbox folders... First, test the script with a local source instead of the Dropbox folder and see if the problem still happens. I'm expecting it won't 🙂 but, if it does, follow David's suggestion of submitting a bug report. Otherwise you'll have to drill down through your Dropbox sharing settings, ownerships and permissions for those folder -- doing it through the Dropbox web interface will probably be easiest. While you're there, make sure those folders are actually empty! If everything looks OK then it is probably a Dropbox syncing problem -- try deleting those folders via the web interface instead of with Retrospect or through the Finder.
