jmosk
I recently performed a full backup of my laptop. The backup report stated that 140 Gb in files was backed up. But the Used Space under disk properties for the disk drive being backed up, showed 249 Gb in use (Windows 7). There was little in the trash and the disk cleanup utility only shows a couple of Gb's would be released. How could there be as much as 100Gb that is in use but not backed up? What could be using THAT much disk space yet not be part of a Retrospect backup?
Lennart_T
What filter/selector did you use? All files except cache files? Or something else excluding more files? You may have large pagefile.sys and hiberfile.sys files. Those are not backed up. Also, Retrospect never backs up duplicate files more than once.
