tacham
I ran an install from 7.6 to 9.5. Seemed to have no problems installing, was done in a few minutes. However it is as is if it was a brand new install, all of my configurations and scripts are nowhere. I did not expect that to happen and in hindsight should have taken some screenshots as backup. Am I overlooking something? Does it really delete everything or am I blind and it is there somewhere else?
Lennart_T
I did just that a few week ago and it worked just fine for me. All scripts etc was moved over. Was Retrospect running when you did the install? Which OS do you run? (XP, Vista, 7 or 8? 32-bit or 64-bit? ) You should find your configuration files here: ..\Documents and Settings\All Users\ Application Data\Retrospect\

Lennart_T
Ah, you posted in the Professional forum. Professional doesn't run on servers. (And it's called "Desktop" nowadays.) OK, here is where your old and new configuration files should be on Windows 2008.
tacham
Ah thanks for all of the help! Yeah I have the new files there just not the old. Something must have just gone wrong somewhere. Looks like I will just have to rebuild that stuff from scratch then.
Lennart_T
You could try: Exit Retrospect. Rename the current config files or hide them in a folder. Put your old files in the folder where the new files was. Launch Retrospect. It will now offer you to import from the old files. (You will need to enter your serial number again.)
