Client favorites gone missing

Recommended Posts

I've just realized that probably (timing would indicate this to be the case) upon upgrading from 10.0.1 (187) to the latest version 10.1.0 (221) that a large number of client favorite folders are no longer being backed up because they are listed with a ~ indicating that they are missing. These seem to all be on Windows machines which are almost all running client 8.0.0 (165), but some machines that are seemingly identical are currently being backed up. It's also possible that some Windows update (which I have no control over) could have caused the issue.

Am I going to have to go to each computer and reinstall the client? I can't seem to get anything else to work, as even forgetting them and trying to find them again (via multicast or even directly adding) doesn't work. In one case, I could readd the client from multicast, but I get no triangle to be able to choose favorites.

Looking at the client side, RS control panel shows it being off, but without allowing me to turn it on. A reinstall (of the latest version-8.1.0 (266) and reselecting favorites seems to be the only things that works.
