makcuk Posted November 5, 2012 Report Share Posted November 5, 2012 Hi There We currently have a proactive backup set which has 27 members. I have now installed an LT05 drive replacing the lt03. How do I continue the sets without starting again I ran the proactive and it seemed to want to backup the whole lot again so I stopped it before it started. Lennart_T Posted November 5, 2012 Report Share Posted November 5, 2012 I would STRONGLY recommend you to create a new backup set. You have 27 members. The probability that one tape in the set develops a fault is 27 times greater than if you have one tape in the set. So archive the 27 tapes OFF SITE and pray that they ALL work if/when you need them.
