makcuk
Hi There I am trying to backup shares from a thecus Nas. Most work fine but certain shares I get this error can't read, error -1112 ( too many open files) Trouble reading files, error -1112 ( too many open files) Any ideas how I can fix this issue I am using retrospect 7.7.562 on windows 7 pro Thanks Mark
Lennart_T
That is most likely a message from the NAS. There may be files still open left there by crashed client applications (unrelated to Retrospect). To close these files, restart the NAS. Lennart_T
Update the firmware in the NAS: http://www.thecus.com/sp_download.php If the NAS needs drivers on the client side, update them as well.
