ggirao
I have rebooted the server where retro is installed and restarted the scripts. Now on my 1st backup it's doing a full backup (vs an incremental) and "eating" new tapes...
twickland
How do you know it's performing a full backup? If you have selected the option to use attribute modification dates when matching, files will be flagged as different when their extended attributes have changed. This can result in a lot more files being backed up than you might otherwise expect. If this is not the reason, please supply more details about your setup, scripts, and observed Retrospect behavior. The above description is pretty skimpy.
ggirao
How do you know it's performing a full backup? Because usually the files are no more than 10-15GB, yesterday they went to 2,5TB (the size of the disk)
