showe Posted July 3, 2012 Report Share Posted July 3, 2012 Hi- I was perusing my log file and this entry (StucStartTrans: errval 0x10000003, doneServResp 0x0 (error 268435459) is all over the place. There's also StucStartTrans: ExecuteTaskAsync (error 268435459) directly underneath the previous error. Backups SEEM to be running fine but what are these errors? Thanks. jondalar21cent Posted July 13, 2012 Report Share Posted July 13, 2012 Hi, got for two days on a running installation exactly the same problem, Retro is 8.2, devive is LTO5 (only some months with 3 backup / week of usage), after that the backup "continue" after "Trouble communicating" BUT the Devices is semm as "empty" (false the tape is in) and i need to restart retrospect engine to "see" the tapes in the drive again ???
