ShadeTek Posted December 21, 2011 Report Share Posted December 21, 2011 (edited) I have been using R7.7 on a Quantum Superloader 3, one (X8)tape cartridge, LT04 drive for 8 months now with no problems until today. I have a back up set with 12 LT04 tape memebers. Today I came in and found that looking in the Storage devices window at the eight tapes, that although the faulty catalogue set tape number, name and "M" icon are present, the "M" icon is greyed out. If I interrogate the back up set members list of this set, only 5 tapes are listed out of the 12 and only the first 3 tapes of the 5 have a barcode number assigned to them. This looks like a corrupt catalogue file to me so I replaced the catalogue file with the back up from yesterday. Restarted everything and it still has the greyed out. Has anyone seen this before or will I have to rebuild the database from scratch? See pic attached. Tapes 2,3,5 & 6 are greyed out.
