13749222B7978DE1E040000A2A666149
I have been running an archive script in order to archive off approx. 375GB of data from my main raid drive. This should easily fit on 1 x 400GB LTO 3 tape. So far Retrospect has asked for 4 new 400GB LTO 3 tapes, so that is 1.6TB of tape Any ideas why this is happening ? Thanks Edited August 20, 2011 by jule5

Lennart_T
The log was sent to me privately and it's full of SCSI errors. After serious errors that tape member couldn't be used to store more data. That's why Retrospect requested new tapes. Have you checked the SCSI cabels, so they are properly inserted? Have you checked the SCSI termination? Have you updated the SCSI card drivers? Have you updated the SCSI card firmware?
