1753260f-b1fa-459d-a355-b7bfb6146427
Hello, I'm new to this forum and new to Retrospect 8.2. I am attempting to set up a media set with an external HD as a storage device. The external drive is a LaCie 1TB Quadra drive. The drive is mounted, shows on the desktop but within Retrospect, it is not listed as an available storage device. Here are the specifics of my install: Mac OS X 10.6.4 running on a Mac Mini 2GB RAM Retrospect 8.2.0 (339) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Lennart_T
How is the external drive formatted? I recommend you to use Mac OS Extened (Journalled), and use GUID partition map.

It shows up in the "sources" window when I set up a script, but doesn't show up in the window when I go to select a storage device. Also, when I go to build a new media set, I'm never prompted to select a storage device there either. Thanks, Brian
