sgladfelter Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 Hello All. I'm trying to figure out why some files and subfolders are missing on a restored package file. The file in question is a Pages document. Even though on the retrospect client restore script I can see all package contents (see attachment), when the file is restored only the "Contents" sub-folder is restored. I've done this twice now, and it is not some kind of permissions problem on the destination drive - I checked it on the server end and it behaves the same no matter which drive, local or network, I restore to. My gear: 10.5.8 PPC client 10.4.10 Intel server LTO3 device Retrospect 8.2.0 Quote
sgladfelter Posted April 7, 2011 Author Report Posted April 7, 2011 Well, lets try attaching that file a second time... Quote

sgladfelter Posted April 8, 2011 Author Report Posted April 8, 2011 What steps are you taking to Restore? I'm using the Restore/Search for files and folders option. To isolate the particular file I wanted, I used the "folder" option in the search utility, since Retrospect sees the package file as a folder. Not sure if this is what you were asking? Quote
