dvalley
I recently moved our backup to a new server. I used the config65 file from the old system to restore the scripts and settings on restrospect SBS 6.5. I now get this error when backing up. + Recycle backup using Friday FM at 8/25/2006 10:30 PM (Execution unit 1) To Backup Set Friday 2... 8/25/2006 10:30:01 PM: Recycle backup: The Backup Set was reset - 8/25/2006 10:30:01 PM: Copying FMFriday on Drive F (F:) File "F:\FM\FMFriday\ProdFriday\ProdFriday.rbf.rfc": can't read, error -1101 (file/directory not found) 8/25/2006 10:57:17 PM: Snapshot stored, 15 KB 8/25/2006 10:57:19 PM: Comparing FMFriday on Drive F (F:) File "F:\FM\FMFriday\MSDSFriday\MSDSFriday.rbf": different modify date/time (set: 8/18/2006 10:49:10 PM, vol: 8/25/2006 10:49:13 PM) File "F:\FM\FMFriday\PTFriday\PTFriday.rbf": different modify date/time (set: 8/18/2006 11:16:24 PM, vol: 8/25/2006 11:16:35 PM) 8/25/2006 11:24:55 PM: 3 execution errors Completed: 7 files, 3.8 GB Performance: 143.2 MB/minute (143.3 copy, 143.2 compare) Duration: 00:54:53 (00:01:11 idle/loading/preparing) What will a different modify date/ time do to the data? How can I fix it?
Lennart_T
The error simply means that the file was modified (on the hard drive) some time between the backup started and the verification. The file is backed up all right. To prevent the error, you have to stop the process(es) that modifies the files.
