tobrien39
Help!! My System Administrator quit and left no instructions on how he set up our backups. We have daily incremental and weekly full backups. How do I find out what tapes it is looking for, so that I have them in the autoloader ready to go. Also is there a way to just "manually" load the tapes that you want instead of having it look for certain bar coded tapes? Thanks
RonaldL
I'm assuming you're using Retrospect 7.5, but the steps would be similiar for older versions. Go to Automate>Manage Scripts, here you will see all of the scripts that your sys admin set up. You can edit and check the Destinations for the backup sets that they will be backing up to. If the destination is Backup Set A, Retrospect will look for a tape called 1-Backup Set A (or some other number depending on how many members there are in the backup set). Another good place to look at is under Activity Monitor>Scheduled. Here you will see the upcoming scheduled backups as well as the backup sets they will be going to.
