SmidgeInNH
I have a new install of Retrospect SBS Premium, 7.5. The license manager shows 0 used, 1 available for the Exchange add-on. However, when I try to add my Exchange server to the backup clients list, it asks for a license code. Putting in the code that is on the CD case doesn't work. I'm completely new to this software, so I'm sure that there's something simple I'm missing. I've looked through the manual and the help files, and done everything correctly as far as I can tell. Mayoff
Go to Configure>Volumes. Right click on the exchange server container and select License. This is also documented in the User's Guide.
SmidgeInNH
Hello again, Thank you for your reply. The Exchange server doesn't show up in the Volumes container. I am pretty sure that the problem is that I didn't know I had to buy a separate server license along with the Exchange agent - I thought they were one and the same.
