turbetjp
According to the Retrospect Manual, one can restore from a disaster by restoring a volume. If one wants to roll back to a previous state of a server (Windows Server 2003), can they restore over the version of Windows that is running the restrospect program. I have a failed upgrade of Server 2003 and I would like to go back to an earlier date. I have daily backups on tape and fw drive. Is this possible or will the Windows OS prevent some files from being replaced. Thanks.
natew
Hi Go ahead and restore. Retrospect is designed to do this. Files that are in use at the time of restore are replaced when you reboot. Thanks Nate
