TaTommy
Randomly (seemingly), I receive this message about once a week: "Restrospect has encountered a serious error: Assertion failure at "module.cpp-460" A log of this error has been written to the file "assert_log.utx" Please tell Dantz about this problem." This always happens on one particular scheduled backup job that contains about 20 different machines. When I look at the History, it shows that job with 0 percent completed... If I restart the job, it then works. Plus there is no "assert_log.utx" job to be found. In addition, my tape drive shows a "read" conition (Sony rack mounted autoloader). Any ideas? Thanks. RonaldL
What version of Retrospect? What OS? What tape drive? This looks like an assert that was fixed in one of the newer builds of 7.0. Be sure you have all the updates for the version you're running. http://www.emcinsignia.com/supportupdates/updates/retrospect/archive/
