Richy_Boy Posted January 20, 2006 Report Share Posted January 20, 2006 Hi all; Just a heads up for the rest of you to make sure this hasn't happened to your Restrospect 7.0 Multi-Server install. For no apparent reason, Retrospect has been ignoring my selectors (include and ignore settings) when backing up data. I was wondering why proactive laptop and desktop machines were backing up so quickly so I took a look, only to find the hard drives were being scanned, nothing was being backed up and then the Snapshot was being built! Very odd behavior, so I presumed my Selector was wrong (although had been working fine previously). I couldn't find anything wrong, so I created a new 'test' Selector with all the same entries - low and behold it works now!! Very odd indeed. I can only assume the Selector has become corrupt?
