Guest
This may seem silly, but how can you buy/use Multiple Execution Units in Retrospect 7? I don't see anything at the retrospect store. I have MultiServer 7.0, and I want to do simeltaneous backups from multiple clients... Seems like it should be easier than this.
awnews
For each script (proactive or scheduled), you can assign it to "any execution unit" or specific execution units. This is in the lower left corner of the script window as a drop-down menu. You control the number of execution units in Prefs->Execution->General. Guest
Right so if I have 8 EU's allowed.... and I have a Proactive script with 2 clients- and the scrip uses any execution unit.... the clients still back up one by one. How can you backup 2, 3, 4 clients at one time?
nembot
Hi, You then need to create 2, 3, 4 scripts with 2, 3, 4 different backup sets to 2, 3, 4 different destinations(if the distination is not a disk) or to one disk destination BUT the 2, 3, 4 sources need to be different as well.
