tomcat72
I am new to Retrospect. The company that I am working for wants me to backup images of two PC's so that should they go down for any reason. All we wold be able to do is format a new hard drive and reinstall the image. We are running Retrospect 6.0 with DAT 12/24 tapes on a BDC running NT4 Server. Is this possible with Retrospect?
natew
Hi Yes. Your best bet is to create a disaster recovery disk to use for your restore. Keep in mind that Retrospect is file based restore. It is not a true "image" like Ghost. As such the restore may be slower but its far easier to keep the backups (and your restores) current. nate
