toomanymessi
Hi, I have 6 servers installed very similar, and on one of them I got an error message after each backup of it: The error message is: User "SYSTEM" has restricted NTFS rights for "Local Disk (C:) on SERVER" I understand that the Retrospect client don't have sufficient access rights to reach somethings, but my problems to found what folder or file ? There is a way to have more details ? (no more details when I press on error button on History panel) Regards TooMany
nekr0phage
Hi, No, there is no way to get more detailed information. However, it appears that the permissions issue lays with the C: drive in general, not any particular folder or file. The Retrospect client will require permissions for the "Everyone" group on the C: drive. You could try changing the user the client service runs as, but this isn't common practice and you would probably need to play with it to figure out exactly what works.
