Advice on backup drive

Recommended Posts

We are an small company with 10 Macintosh computers on our network. We use one old iMac to transfer and deposit files but it’s time for us to move to a more reliable backup storage solution, specially one that automatically updates our computers and files.

I was going to purchase a Maxtor OneTouch Drive to use with Retrospect Workgroup but I saw a white paper at the Dantz web site on how to set up the software with this type of “OneTouck” drive. It gave me the sensation that there are a lot of things needed to do in order to make Retrospect and this type of drives work together. It seems they are not friendly with each other.

Will I lose some Retrospect features with this drive? Do I need a different drive?

I appreciate any advice or recommendation in order to make the right decision.

Thanks.
