My question is what driver gets loaded for a Exabyte VXA-1 using firewire? My computer is a Windows XP Professional SP3. Mayoff Posted April 14, 2009 Report Share Posted April 14, 2009 Retrospect contains the driver for this device and it is loaded when you launch the Retrospect program. Bryce Hinds Posted April 14, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 14, 2009 Robin, Device Manager sees the device as "Other devices" and loads it, but under the tabs of Properties...Driver...Driver Details, there is no specific driver that is loaded during the initial recognition of the device. So, when I go into Retrospect...Configure...Devices...Status or Environment and click refresh, Retrospect does not see the device. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
