bdemarco
Product Used: Retrospect Express HD 2.5 I have been backing up for some time now and want to delte old restore points (start fresh). I go into my external hard drive but get an error (You need permission to perform this action) when I attempt to manually delete the restore points. When I bring up Retrospect, select Restore, there are no restore points showing. How can I clean up my hard drive by deleting old restore points ans start afresh? thanks --Bruce DeMarco
SHnee
Hi, Please have a look at following kb article: How to delete Restore Points in Express HD 2.x: http://kb.dantz.com/article.asp?article=9571&p=
toneranger33
Hi, I cannot delete or even see the restore points. I have clicked restore and the box that opens shows the calendar but the right hand window is empty. Disc is full and the software otherwise reports 7 restore points are available. Is there a manual way of deleting restore points.
Mayoff
If you want to start fresh, just erase the external hard disk and start again.
