jeffzz
Before redoing my C drive, I copied my entire C drive to an external drive using Retrospect express 7.5 and can not restore any files. All of the data is in 600meg files. I must have missed a step in copying where the file's identification was not done. Can any one suggest how I can retrieve the files? Mayoff
What is the folder path to these files? Have you tried a catalog rebuild?
jeffzz
Thanks. The path as I understand the meaning is: K:/Retrospect/WD Backup Pro/1-WD Backup Pro/ then all of the files are shown. When I try the "repair catalog" I get to Saved in -Retrospect Catalog files. File name-WD Backup Pro.rbc. If I click save the message - says WD Backup Pro.rbc already exists. I did not want to go further if it will mess up any thing. (After I had copied my C drive I then did a few trials of saving small files and these were easily restored. I don't need these files. I suspect that the message is referring to the catalog for these files. Should I delete these files so that all I have are the files from the original c drive back up?) thanks
