gloyer
Using 5.6 Express now to backup a laptop across the network to a Linux RH 7.1 file server. Gave up trying to do a backup and just duplicate the disk. Even when I reduced the size of the backup below 2Gb (filesystem limit on RH7.1 vanilla), the recovery process could not read the files. I was told it wasn't supported. Is this now supported with the improved Linux features of 6.x?
Mayoff
The Linux features allow you to back up a "Linux Client" over the network to a Windows backup server. At this time we do not support individual source files larger then 2 gig in size. We also support full system restores on Linux systems
xev
Where do you get the clients for Linux. I upgraded from a previous version, so I don't have a CD. Dantz finally has the clients on the updates page, but just the Windows and Mac client. Where can I get the Linux client from?
