dgoodtree Posted October 22, 2008 Report Share Posted October 22, 2008 Hi, Similar issue to topic 28401, but I believe I am following the right process. Trying to restore to a new machine. Trying to rebuild catalog file first. I took the following steps: Went to Tools / Repair / Recreate from Disk / Last Disk (to access my Maxtor external drive). I browse G:, double click on the the directory Retrospect, but the software doesn't see the folder "Backup Set C". (Within this folder, there is folder called "1-Backup Set C", and within it are the .rdb files). FYI -- I created the backups using Retrospect 7.x, but the CD which I used to install Retrospect on my new machine -- and which I am using to browse for backup sets -- is version 6.0.206. Any ideas?
