cmp119
We use Retrospect 7.0 with the Exchange Agent. Every Friday night we backup the Exchange IS to disk. Our Exchange IS is approximately 30Gbs. Saturday nights we then backup this same information to tape for off-site storage. That works fine too, but there is a problem. The Exchange disk backup set is setup to groom older than two backups. However it does not automatically groom as other backup sets. I must manually initiate grooming of this backup set for it to work. Is this correct in that it will not auto groom or am I missing something? Mayoff
Grooming works one of two ways: -The disk fills up and a grooming starts. If the destination has free space, then your backup will continue every day until the disk fills. Then grooming will run. -You have created a grooming script to groom at a specific time. How have you configured the automatic grooming?
